This song was written in March 2010, in the time when Simon Llewelyn Evans went to the Fiji Islands to help clean-up after Cyclone Tomas had stormed through the place. The Sacred Island, Naitauba was hit very hard. Naitauba is the principle retreat sanctuary of Evans' Guru: Adi Da Samraj. Little did Simon know, but, aswell as helping to clean the most beautiful place he has ever lived, he also was to play a lot of guitar and collaborate with other young people who love and care for Adi Da Samraj and his places of Spiritual Blessing and empowerment.

The song 'My Ghost' was 'given' to Simon within the first week of his two month stay there. Jon Greene accompanies on lead guitar and backing vocals, Chris Casey plays bass, and Tom Stiles recorded and mixed the song. Also, this song was a one take shot. A live recording. It captures the feeling of co-operation, tolerence, love and a helping, caring spirit the human heart finds itself in, when faced with an emergency situation. A situation of immediate seriousness and love.

Simon Llewelyn Evans wrote this song in response to the beauty of the island, Naitauba. And even though the Cyclone well and truly hammered the place... whilst there, he could still easily locate, and feel at heart, the beauty and stillness, that Avatar Adi Da has blessed the island to be, always.
