STRANGE ATTRACTORS was conceived late into a sweet, intoxicating full moon summer night on a rooftop in the East Village of New York City, 2003. An exuberant party morphed into spontaneous musical intercourse that lasted past sunrise. STRANGE ATTRACTORS is the child of that union.

STRANGE ATTRACTORS' debut album Bred In Captivity is an adventurous alchemy of punk, pop, rock, celtic warble and yes, even a waltz. The resulting blend is both unique and accessible. From the snotty swaggering of 'Daddy Pays the Rent', to the haunting musical landscape of 'Trust Minefield', through the blistering satire of 'Sweat Like Nixon', the songs on Bred In Captivity are deliciously infectious.
