MATT JAY is a hard rock artist from New York that takes his hard hitting attitude and old school mentality to new music. Drummer for bands such as Lostboys, Lash, The Flames, and many others comes out from behind the kit to Bring his own style of har rock. MATT has been playing and writing music from a young age and grew up playing in every band he could. After playing the local scene on Long Island Matt decided to head out to Los Angeles to pursue his passion. In L.A. Matt played in bands and projects including Lostboys. While playing in Los Angeles Matt started to write more of his own music and decided to move back to N.Y. to concentrate on recording. There he had independent releases that have been featured on local radio. Now MATT JAY continues his straight foward, pull no punch style of hard rock and looks foward to bringing it to you with a follow up album called "FIRE IT UP !"
