简介
Multiple award-winning singer-songwriter Patricia Shih pays tribute to one of her folk heroes, Pete Seeger. She first shared a stage with him at the very first Earth Day celebration in 1970 at the Washington Monument, and over the decades sang in concert with him several more times. She was thrilled when he took a liking to one of her originals, "Two Good Legs" which he sang with her on stage twice, and with the Disabled In Action Singers at Lincoln Center. There the song earned a standing ovation from 6,000 attendees. Pete influenced and encouraged Patricia's songwriting through the decades, giving her one of her most treasured quotes: "Patricia is a very prolific, wonderful songwriter. I'm a lucky musician to live long enough to see people like (her) coming along." Patricia presently has recorded 9 CDs over her more than 4-decade career: four for adults and five for children and families. She also hosted a daily TV show in the NY metro area for a year, written two books about music; and is a sought-after keynote speaker and presenter. Her creative endeavors extend to producing music and memorial videos, and full length documentary. Lastly she was trained as a fine artist, working professionally in that field for 10 years. www.patriciashih.com www.PatriciaShihArt.com www.undocumenteddoc.com
