Yukon musician Lara Lewis is a keys player and singer songstress. She has been actively performing since 2006 in various bands and as a solo artist. Lov Lavatic is her first full-length album of original material. The songs on Lov Lavatic range from the dirgy toms-heavy “Gonna Roll” to the upbeat, driving "Making Me High". The album is a textured sonic journey through various musical styles culminating in the Lana Del Rey-esque sweeping finale of "It’s Real". Lara and her band (Lara and the Danz) are currently booking dates for their spring/summer 2018 tour of Yukon and British Columbia.
