简介
SIGMA, Brazilian group of instrumental progressive rock, presents his second work entitled SINGULARITY. In the nine tracks on the album you can check the maturity of the band that features elaborate arrangements and compositions worked jointly by all its members. The major musical balance between all instruments defines the work, which translates into more space for guitar themes and lines that, together with the creative drums pace, bass lines and arrangements of pianos and keyboards, forms a modern and integral sound, but without forgetting the influences of the best progressive rock. The SINGULARITY album recordings were made in São Paulo, at Nimbus Studio. The mastering step was taken at the renowned studio MOSH, also in São Paulo. On the road for about 25 years, SIGMA is today one of the most traditional Brazilian bands in the progressive scene. The group is formed by Claudio Penna, keyboards and synthesizers; Jameson Trezena, bass; Cristiano Moro, guitar; and Alexandre Crescenzi, on drums. In 1994, the band performed for the first time in a progressive music event, held in the House of Culture Reversal, which brought together bands like Third Millennium, Blezqi Zatsas, Tisaris and Via Lumini, conducted over 06 weeks, and which SIGMA had the honor of closing. Also in the mid-90s, SIGMA presented in the historic Progressive Festival held at Centro Cultural São Paulo, which featured bands like Terreno Baldio, Terço e III Milênio. In late 1996, the group began recording their debut album, released in 1998 under the title IMPLEMENTAL VIEW, and under contract with PRW Label. The work was very well accepted by national and international criticism. In France, the first SIGMA album received great critical and recommendation of Harmony, primary progressive rock publication of the time, and in Japan and Italy, achieved excellent performance in sales in the segment. With the completion of SINGULARITY album, SIGMA is back on the market to start the outreach work and take your music to progressive fans worldwide. Sit back and enjoy!
