Max Brown was one of the world's finest contemporary jazzguitarists. He played the chord melody style he learned while working with Les Paul. Max had his right shoulder shattered in world war 2 and he played with an artificial shoulder and it never seemed to interfere with his playing. He could do 30 chords in 15 seconds and never do the same ones twice. On this album he is working with the beautiful Yvonne Martine doing the vocals, Rick Veras on violin, Paul Kaye on second guitar, and Dave Aurelio on electric bass., and Acie Cargill on standup bass.
