Colbert Hamilton & The Nitros were first formed back in 1992. Colbert had previously been working with The Hellrazors, but teamed up with the already established Nitros after both parties wanted new directions. The was an explosive fusion bringing together vibrant ideas and fresh enthusiasm. Two LP releases were to follow, "Still Taggin' Along" on the Vinyl Japan label, "Wild At Heart" on Nervous Records. A successful tour of Japan followed in 1994 to promote the Wild at Heart release.

The following years fell silent for the group until fresh interest was stiring in Europe. The band was reformed with 2 new members for some dates in the UK, France and Spain. With the new line up and new material in place, it seemed the next step was to get a new CD recorded and released. Founder member of the Nitros, John O'Malley felt the only way to do this was to keep it in-house and record, produce and promote it himself. He set up the label MalleyCat Records with the first release being "Love Or Glory Man" from Colbert Hamilton & The Nitros. It was an inspirational mix of styles all with a Neo Rockabilly flavour. Cover versions from the likes of Amy Winehouse, Prince, The Kings Of Leon, Ricky Martin, Leanne Rimes and of course the king himself Elvis Presley. Not only were the cover versions an eclectic mix of styles, the self penned tunes from O'Malley and Hamilton cross several musical borders, giving the CD a broad spectrum of flavours.
