Earl Hooker's brilliant stuff for producer Mel London dominates, but the last six sides showcase Jody Williams's taut, ringing guitar lines (especially on 1957's West Side-styled minor-key "Lucky Lou") and smooth vocals on "You May" and "Looking for My Baby."
