July 2006: Babylotion play Rock Am Beach in Larvik with Baunen and Richard Holmsen of Delaware. The next weekend, they play "KJERRINGVIKFESTIVALEN" for over 1000 people in beautyful Kjerringvik. The concert is a great success, and the lineup featured; Lars Lillo-Steenberg, Young Neils and others. April 2006: Babylotion play the Working Class Hero Festival in Drammen, with Raga Rockers, Surfe Rosa, Thomas Dybdahl, Delaware and many other great artists. December 2005: The releaseconcert for "9" is a great success, drawing a full house at Gamla in Oslo. November 2005 - April 2006: The album "9" get great reviews by local and national newspapers and magazines. Only 4's and 5's are given. November 2005: babylotion release their first album titeled "9". July 2005: daddy hosts the first ever ROCK AM BEACH in his hometown of Larvik. The event attracts about 150 people, and babylotion deliver a taste of their up and coming album - 9. The next RAB is going to be held in Larvik July 22nd 2006. More bands will be playing the next event. February 2005: babylotion start recording their first album "9". This album is to be released on NLC Records, Kjetil Nesheim and Kirsti Arvesens's record company. January 2004: Support concert for tsumani dissaster in south east Asia. Desember 2004: The band play for Norwegian animal rights organization NOAH at "Sin Pecado" in Oslo. October 2004: babylotion play 2 times this month at Rockefeller Music Hall in Oslo, attending GBOB. babylotion end up #1 in the eastern final beating 46 other bands. bl are #4 in the national final. April 2004: babylotion play at "Gamla" in Oslo, and record their first live album "Live @ Gamla 2004". This time all the songs played live are babylotion songs. They play with fellow Drammen band Pitch for a full house. March 2003: babylotion play at "Snowstock" in Kongsberg. October 2003: The band record their second EP "sonnysaissignussony" in Skien at NLC Studios. A new and important relation was made with Kjetil Nesheim, who produced the EP, and is now a working partner with babylotion, who use him for most of their live gigs. Again the EP contained 3 songs; "6 weeks", "Stay with me" and "What you are". All of the songs were played on different radio stations. The music has changed a great deal from the first EP. babylotion have found their own sound. March 2003: babylotion play for 300 people at Chateau Neuf in Oslo. Same gig as last year. This concert was without Marius who was on vacation in Spain. March 2002: babylotion play for 300 people at Chateau Neuf in Oslo. This was the start of a great deal of concerts for Oslo University "Blindern". More and more songs are now babylotion material. August 2001: Their first EP "Gone Away" was recorded outside Drammen in 2001. It was recorded with 2 basists. Klaus had said he was going to quit the band and move to Spain to start a new carrier. Former "Poor Rich Ones" basist Kjetil Gåsland joined the band a few weeks before the recording started, and played on two of the songs ("gone away" and "smoke",) while Klaus played on the "Backstreet Boys" cover "I want it that way". A lot of concerts were held. babylotion were playing mostly covers and some of their own songs. "I want it that way" was played on national radio NRK P3. November 2000: babylotion was formed by Tore Lie, Morten Hammerseng, Espen Hajum, Marius Midtskogen and Klaus Hefte. The idea was to play cover songs to get new inspiration to start writing their own material. Summer 1999: Ocean Art was put to sleep. 1993-1999: Tore, Marius and Espen played together in the band "Ocean Art" a progressive rock band.
