TOP R&B SINGER/ SONGWRITER METHRONE TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM Former Capitol artist reached #4 on Billboard Hot R&B 200 charts. ATLANTA, GA: Top rhythm and blues music artist Methrone (pronounced Me-Trone) will be releasing his fourth album “Instant Replay” on September 25th 2007. The album will be released independently and distributed online. The first cut promoted to radio off the upcoming album will be the ballad song “No More”. Methrone’s critically acclaimed debut album “My Life,” charted 28 at its peak on Billboards top R&B/Hip Hop Albums and remained on the chart for 34 weeks. His smash hit single “Loving Each Other-4-Life” charted for 38 weeks on Billboard’s Hot 200 singles chart, peaking at number 4. Methrone was also featured on the Ying Yang’s album “Alley the Return of the Ying Yang Twins” on the song “Tongue Bath”. Methrone’s follow up album titled “Picture Me” also rode the charts of Billboards and peaked at 39. Methrone has always been involved in all aspects of his recordings, including production, arrangement, instrumentation, lead and background, which also includes the album independently released album “Chemistry”. Methrone was born and raised in Plant City Florida by his grandmother. Methrone started singing at age 12, and later taught himself piano by ear. After graduating from high school he began hanging out a local recording studio Methrone learned the rudiments of using a sequencer to program tracks and cut his first demo, a song called “Lovely Young Thing.” Later on Methrone accepted and invitation by his sister Faye and moved to Atlanta, GA, to pursue his musical career.
