The brain-child of Nikita "Kitty" La Tijera , HEAR KITTY KITTY is the successor to iconic bands like the Distillers & Hole. Her bandmates are Cordell Crockett of alternative band Ugly Kid Joe, and Swiss drummer Carlo Ribaux. Having played hundreds of shows throughout the US & Europe, Hear Kitty Kitty's fierce performances have definitely and defiantly left a mark (cat scratch?) on the music scene over the past few years. Their debut release "Tails From The Alley" featured guest appearances by various established artists including Tommy Stinson (The Replacements, Guns N Roses), John Dolmayan (System of a Down), Gina Schock (The Go-Go’s), Kim Fowley (The Runaways, KISS, Alice Cooper) & Chris Vrenna (NIN, Marilyn Manson). The sometimes gritty, sometimes smooth, and always powerful and rhythmic alternative style of this indie band is the perfect backdrop to a party that you never want to end. The power and energy that Nikita delivers vocally is a fantastic accompaniment to the talented guitar work of Cordell Crockett, and the rhythmic flow and variation of Carlo's drumming.
