This is a rap album that is Christian based, NOT GOSPEL RAP. The artist was once a wild, out of control young lady that turned her life around for the Lord and is now living a blessed Christian lifestyle (hence, the artist name: CHANGED), but still has room for improvement and can relate to just about every issue/struggle that the average person faces on a day to day basis, from drugs to premarital sex, to unwanted pregnancy, bisexuality, etc., and the artist expresses all of this on the album. It talks about going from dark to light. The artist name CHANGED signifies how the artist has evolved and the title of the album (Old Holds Barred) signifies all the sins, strongholds, and demons from the past that used to hold back the artist NOW are BARRED, hence OLD HOLDS BARRED. This lyrics on this album were written to uplift, encourage and inspire ANYONE and EVERYONE, not just Christians, and it can stand amongst the best on the market.
