This is the debut album from Contemporary Christian singer-songwriter and producer, Christie Chong. From writing, arranging, producing, and recording the songs, it has been over a decade in the making. The songs on this album have been written with the John 4:24 admonition to worship God "in spirit and in truth", with both Spirit-filled passion and sound Biblical doctrine so that the heart and the mind are both exercised and edified.

These "Songs for the Journey" are to be a source of encouragement to fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to stay the course, keep focusing on Jesus, be faithful in obedience to His Word, and always have a grateful heart. Set in a Pop/R&B/Gospel music setting, the album aims to use the universality of contemporary music to freshly portray the life-giving message of the gospel and what it means to walk the Christian life with the hope of eternity.
