up to this point, ten years after i started "talk is cheap", why should i be the same man? why should i have the same sound?i was a teenager then. yes i slowed down the speed of my raps considerably. listen carefully you will still here plenty of fast flows. im just pacing myself more & im comfortable with my style. the reason i named it "method 2 the madness" is when you first hear it you might think ive gone mad. but after a while you will see the "method" & reasoning behind this.every album before this has such a west coast, nor cal sound. this album is so much more worldly. i am gaining a whole new fan base. i have everything on here from hardcore, fast rap,club bangers , radio jams , hip hop styles, down south beats, & even a rock feel to it. i feel this album shows off my versatility the best. every beat was tracked out , superbly mixed , & mastered perfect. not one of my other albums featured a beat with a sample, or even live DJ scratching. "method 2 tha madness" is all that & more. sometimes i still cant believe i made the song "Flippin da scripture" . its so unlike anything I've ever done. i don't have to "gas" every rapper or verse anymore , I'm into making good music for the world , not just Salinas & nor cal.yes i was trying to do something different on this album, being that now i am a seasoned performer, i would like to be able to perform all my new songs on the road. rappers survive on show money, & while i am proud of my earlier projects, most of those songs are just not show material. "method 2 tha madness" is my favorite album. enjoy.
