For those of you who are not familiar with the bible, or perhaps are just not familiar with the parable of the Prodigal Son, allow me to enlighten you.

The parable of the Prodigal Son tells the story of a son who leaves home, away from his father, in attempt to find what he thinks is a more satisfying life. After just a short time, poor and lonely, the son realizes he already had all he ever needed at home with his father. Ashamed and afraid of going back he returns, knowing it is his only true hope of survival. To his surprise, not only does he find that is his father is not angry with him, but greets him with a compassionate love far beyond his comprehension. The story of this modern day Prodigal Son is just that, a journey of one man’s life as he strays away from home in search of fulfillment. Only to find his true self in his maker, and life more abundant.
