Hailing from Kitsap County, Washington, Libretto is a three piece band trying to shake off the Grungy image that bands in Washington are given. Which isn't to say they hate Grunge, they're merely trying to move forward with their music to bring something else onto Washington's palate. With their album 'Figurehead' they've done just that. The band's first release is a definitive statement to the rock world. With its complex rhythms and soaring vocal melodies, Libretto proves that songs can be unique and still stay structured. Drawing from their wide array of influences Libretto has created an album that ranges from classically infused prog to psychotic surf-music all bundled up in a tight knit ‘all-out-rock’ package.
