The Bugz Project brings a classic blues rock Texas style sound with guitars blazing, a solid bass groove, drums kicking, vocals growling and seasoned International spice and fireworks. Bugz’ friends and collaborators: Frank Henicke solo artist played all guitars except where noted. Dave Irons, a.k.a “King Dave”, lead singer from the band Kritickill, who was also main vocalist and lyric collaborator. Rich Chilleri, creative and talented drummer from Austin, TX, , with a good history of projects ( Guy Forsyth and Omar and the Howlers). Then, the smooth and driving bass playing of George Reiff, who worked with many known artists (Ian Moore; Charlie and Will Sexton,and Ian McLagan & The Bump Band). His last project was with New Earth Mud, Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes latest project. Bugz project recorded at Jumping Dog Studios in Austin TX. Ron Flynt (20/20), the owner and engineer, was the man who captured it all. Ron himself is a polished pro with a long history in the music world who also plays bass and on two songs with some backup vocals and all keyboards. His first band was 20/20 a recording band with CBS. Kenny Lewis, an established producer/engineer, did all final mixes. Recent credit include Stryper’s "Reborn" which hit the Billboard Charts last fall. Then Ty Tabor, lead guitarist from Kings X, did the mastering at his Alien Beans Studio. The amazing Michele Cusato, a rising star from Italy, is a guest lead guitarist on two songs. Another guest on bass guitar, Mr. “Big Stuff”, the talented and seasoned James Anderson who worked with Rattlin Bones, Nitzinger, Bugs Henderson, and Rocky Athas to name a few. On the song, SkyFlyer, a remarkable vocalist/artist from Canada, Marija, wrote and sang the lyrics. She is presently working on her CD with famed producer Michael Wagener from Nashville. On the song SlipZ A~Way, Todd Gardner on drums and Deno Cansino on bass, from the band Kritickill, were also welcomed guests. On the new six songs, On One In A Million vocals are by Chris Ayries from Cananda, Should I Say Goodbye Boy is Anca Graterol from Germany, If Only, Moves Me, and Don't Bulley Me is Marija from Canada. David Z guest guitarist from Waco is on If Only, Phil Redmond(Malford Milligan) on keyboards on Should I Say Goodby Boy, One In A Million, Don't Bulley Me and John Bush( Edie Brickell and The New Bohemians) and from Austin the best Rich Chilleri on drums and Naj Conklin on bass.
