Singer, Songwriter, Poet, Teacher, Stylist & Visual Orator, Ade Alafia Adio was born in Salsbury, MD (USA) from Nigerian parents. He went back to Nigeria in 1978 and in high school (1983); He was studying to acquire a degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering... Couple of years later he decided to stop all that and follow his true passions: Singing, Writing songs & poems and working on his percussion skills. The essence of his work was focused on expressing his dire need for individuality as well as collective in-depth communication between society. Ade says "I spent my life mostly misunderstanding others and being misunderstood so i had a difficult time making sense of my actions. I had to develop an ideology of self-guidance, which strengthen my enlightenment, eliminating common fears and replacing them with a total embodiment of faith". Ade recently established a new home in Netherlands building a strong foundation in music with Offering Recordings. He is also the creative mind behind Tree of Alafia, a lifestyle workshop established to create universal one-ness for all. This self-taught writer believes in the interactive teaching concepts of individual experiences.
