The group emphasizes improvisation as a modality in performance and as a means of birthing new songs. Jo Alexis Bronstein and Neil Goldstein co-write the music. They are joined by veteran Australian flute player, Mark Pritchard. Neil plays fingerstyle guitar and sings back up. Jo plays percussion and sings lead vocals. The propitious coming together of these three musicians allows for a unique sound reminiscent of Bebel Gilberto and Sinead O’Connor. Musically, they are venturing into new places, creating songs with a rich chord palette and taking exciting musical risks.
