Peter Aston is a Christian Singer/Songwriter based at Holtwood Methodist Church in Dorset, near the beautiful south coast of England. "Name in the Sand" contains 12 orginal tracks ranging from the folk/rock of "Make Your Choice" to ballads such as "Seven Days" and dramatic songs such as "I was There" which tells the story of the Crucifixion from the point of view of a Roman soldier who was the executioner! One of the most popular tracks on the CD is "The Greatest Gift" which has the central message that the Greatest Gift ever given was never hung on a Christmas tree at all - but on a tree at Calvary. The CD has been featured on many radio stations and has sold well both in the UK and abroad including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Ireland.
