简介
All the honor, glory and praise belongs to God. The Chamber of Christ was born out of the heart of God to share the love and joy found in knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. The songs are of an intimate nature and are shared exactly in the way the Spirit intended. Below is a summary sharing the ministering background for each song. The entire album can be seen in video on YouTube by searching on "Chamber of Christ (Volume I) Album". The Lord bless you exceedingly and draw you nearer to Him with every passing day. Abundant Blessings! Patrick Victor [COMFORT ME] The song "Comfort Me" was given to me while sitting in the pew of an empty dark church in Mid-Manhattan early in the morning where I often stopped by before heading on to work. I don't remember what exactly at that moment was troubling me, but I do remember being in need of comfort. It was there that the first verse came to light. I believe the melody and lyrics were provided for the purpose of sharing it with those in need of comfort. The Holy Spirit sent by Jesus Christ is the ultimate comforter. At the foot of the cross we find the ultimate comfort, as we look upon his pierced hands, feet, and side. I did not plan intentionally to make reference to these three parts of our Lord's pierced body. Only afterwards however did I realize the significance. That is, he is pierced in three parts signifying our entry into union with the Father (the hands -- creation), the Son (the feet -- The Gospel's arrival and crushing of the evil one under His foot) and the Holy Spirit (the side -- abiding in our hearts), and yet, all three in one body. We are comforted through his suffering, death and resurrection. [YOU ARE THE KING] One day after praying in the back room of a cathedral during my lunch break in New York City I had a desire to express God's majesty within my heart. For a moment I felt disappointed having to return to work, knowing I had not released my heart to the Lord. Well, within just a few steps after turning to leave, I was suddenly apprehended with the chorus being released from my lips in a gentle yet strong and supernaturally confident tone. I gave God thanks, knowing that He had seen my desire and graciously granted my heart's desire to worship and magnify Him. I believe this song has been given to fill the hearer with complete confidence in the Spiritual Kingship of Jesus Christ through His redemptive and atoning work for all of humanity. [HAPPY (IN THE LORD)] Songs are vehicles used by the Spirit to help propel us either into praise or lead us into a deeper state of worship. And I will be the first to admit that being in either is the greatest place to be. However, the Lord knows that we have normal daily lives to lead and that none of us can be basking in His glory all day long in a state of complete praise and worship. The song "Happy" recognizes this fact and thus shares a more easy-going fellowship, yet still expresses our heart to the Lord. Again, the majority of our lives are not spent in a state of elevated praise or deep meditation, but rather in our everyday responsibilities. And a true child of God lives in a comfortable, natural and happy state by being mindful of God as they go through the many chores of life. There should be nothing strange or forced in our relationship with Him. For the person of faith, being with the Lord in this way is extremely natural. Recall that it was very normal for Adam and Eve to walk in the cool of the garden together with the Lord as they spoke with Him in a simple straightforward way. May we all come to the point where we are communicating with Him throughout our day and not only when we are storming the gates of heaven in a full fledge praise and worship. Our Father desires for us to simply go through our busy days next to Him and to be happy knowing that he is always right there with us. May this song help remind us to do just that a little bit more with each and every passing day. [IN YOUR LIGHT] To have a dream of serving the Lord and watching it slowly fade away due to the pressures and cares of this world is a tremendous tragedy. Not only for the person God placed the dream in, but also for those who ultimately would be touched and inspired by that dream. Only by the light of His great love are we strengthened and lifted up once again to pursue the vision placed within us. And at the very root, we all share the same vision and desire, which is to be transformed back into the image God intended for us at the time of our creation. That is, to be transformed into His image, which is the Lord Jesus Christ -- the exact representation of God made flesh which allows us all to perfectly see His divine image and thus be unified into one vision. To some a position for teaching has been assigned, to others a position for visiting the sick, to another praising through song, etcetera. Yet in all of these, we are jointly in the process of being transformed by His light in order to realize the fullness of His image in our lives, both individually and collectively. The song "In Your Light" is a personal testimony of this ongoing transformative process within my own life. May the Lord shine upon every dream placed within us as we are daily being transformed into His glorious image of love and light! [STRENGTH CALLED LOVE] Where there is love, there is God. Where there is love, there is strength. Strength to scale the highest mountain, strength to cross the deepest valley. For God indeed so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. And it was through His great love that our LORD was able to take upon Himself the failure of all humanity and lay down His life for each and every one of us. So let us today in turn look to Him and realize that He has already filled us with the greatest strength which is His love. A love to carry us above the highest of stars and heal the world! [COMFORT ME (CLASSICAL RENDITION)] The composer and arranger DanMuZik of this classical rendition of the song "Comfort Me" received a touch from the Spirit and in one sitting played this piece which happens to have three distinct parts signifying the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in that order. This was completely unplanned! During the first movement, lasting about 30 seconds we can hear the Father at work, preparing to bring His Son into the world - everything must be perfect. During the second movement, lasting about 20 seconds, the Son appears, His ministry lasts for only a brief period. His work of complete redemption for the entire world is quick and fulfills scripture with complete accuracy. The third movement, lasting about 40 seconds, the Holy Spirit begins to be poured out unto all of God's dear beloved children chosen from the foundation of time. May God bless you and open your heart to receive His Master Plan for your life! [YOU ARE WORTHY] The safest place to be is in the presence of God. It is also the most exciting place to be. Unfortunately, most things people consider exciting these days eventually turn out to be unfulfilling and sometimes just plain dangerous, leaving the person hurt, empty, confused and feeling lost. But thanks to the LORD there is hope. For He offers anyone, completely free, an exciting and fulfilling life of “Praise & Worship”. A life where we never need to worry about losing ourselves. In fact it is the very exact opposite, we find ourselves, and we also find ourselves in the midst of an eternal family. Thus we desire to pour out our hearts endlessly upon Him and our souls cry out to Him, “LORD, You are Worthy of all the Honor, and all the Glory, and all the Praise”. This is the first song I’ve worked on where the LORD has blessed me with the wonderful opportunity to record with a very dear sister of mine from my church choir. She has been a great encouragement and support to me. Thus it is with the utmost gratitude that this song is being presented to our Father in Heaven. May this song bless your heart and encourage you to also live a life of “Praise & Worship”. [LOVE LIKE RAIN] My grandmother had three children; my mother Rachel, and my two uncles Daniel and Mario. All have gone to be with the LORD except for Daniel. Daniel has a daughter named Annie. Both are extremely dear to me. Before my grandmother passed away, she shared a beautiful testimony with me. She told me that the LORD would come to stand by her side, hold her by the hand, and tell her that He was with her in whatever decision she wanted to take. He was actually leaving it up to her whether to stay or to go with Him! Doesn’t that sound just like Jesus? Yes indeed, for the LORD is so gentle and caring, and His kindness is forever. I think we often fail to understand the loving ways of our Lord Jesus and how he is always there. For He said, “I will never leave you”. Well during that time, which was several years ago, I was working on my first song ever with Daniel called “Love Like Rain”. And the day before my grandmother passed away I told her I was working on a song with him. She looked at me, and I’ll never forget the look in her eyes as she said to me, “It’s going to be good.” Oh that look, the look in the eyes of one who knows they will soon be leaving with the LORD … when you see that look, you never forget it, for you are getting a small glimpse into eternity. Oh, how I could share so much with you, but for the sake of sharing this song, I must continue. Daniel and I eventually finished the song and like most songs it became just a memory. Well several years have passed since then and now it’s a new day! So we decided to resurrect the song back to life by having little Annie, who is now all grown up at seventeen, be part of the song. I can tell you that it is beautiful to work on music with family, especially when it is for the Lord! I should also mention that my mother Rachel went to be with Jesus only three months after her mother due to her battle with Alzheimer’s at a very young age. She also loved to write songs and to sing. I testify that through it all, the LORD was faithful and always made it clear to me that He was there! We understand that we sing unto the Lord and that all things belong to Him, but I am quite certain He has already granted me permission to dedicate this song, “Love Like Rain”, in loving memory of my dearest grandmother and her daughter Rachel - my caring beautiful mother. How much they were loved. May this song bless you, and if you do not know the Lord Jesus, please consider looking into your heart and asking Him to come into your life. He will never turn away from you and will always be there with you. I can promise you that! [JEHOVAH RAPHA] One evening while studying the scriptures along with Kevin J. Conner’s guide “The Foundations of Christian Doctrine”, I found myself going through a list of 21 Jehovahistic Names of God listed on a single page. Then all of a sudden my eyes were led to 4 particular names on this list while my ears were simultaneously filled with a melody instantaneously connecting these 4 names. I testify this is how the chorus to this song came to light and thus I am fully convinced it was given by the Holy Spirit. The Lord is truly revealing Himself to His children as never before. With regards to the chorus, I believe the Lord desires to shower His love upon us during praise and worship through each of these 4 names, but in particular through the name of Jehovah Raah, the Lord is my Shepherd! My understanding is that this song was given to reveal the wonderful relationship we have with the Lord. It is both for those who are just getting to know the Lord as much as it is for some who are already quite mature in Him. May you be blessed with His undeniable presence through the revelation of His Name. [THE LITTLE FAITH SONG] This song comes to remind us of the wonderful words of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to a mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.” From this we are told that the impact of just a little faith can be explosive! Also, in the Gospel of John Chapter 14, my favorite book and chapter in the bible, Jesus assures us that He has prepared a place for us in our Father’s house right there with Him. The tremendous hope and love we receive from the words of Jesus are life changing and enough to keep us steadfast throughout all the storms of life. My hope is that this song will put a smile in your heart and a bounce in your step as you take joy in remembering the promises we have in Him! And always remember – He Said It!
