Grace Under Pressure is the name of cinematic pop-rockers Melody Dante and Jesse Slingsby’s 8 year collaboration. A band of creativity and genre rule-breaking, Grace Under Pressure (aka GUPmusic) is a band whose collection of songs are loosely labelled indie pop-rock. Everything from cow-bells to trumpets to pianos to guitar solos paint themselves into the songs from this duo, and at the forefront of it all sits a strong female vocalist: Melody Dante, and a harmonious rap-rocker: Jesse Slingsby. With two vocalists, genre-blending music and lyrics that build stories, GUP is everything its creators want to hear in modern music: creativity, artistry and repetition only when necessary.
