My name is Gabriela Lo Basso and I am a singer, dancer, songwriter, composer, pianist, and performer. I have been performing since I was ten years old, and once I realized that music and performing have the power to inspire and make people happy, I continued to gain experience in doing so. I taught myself how to play the piano at age 10, I’ve been studying vocal technique for seven years now, and I have been dancing for over a year (also self-taught). 
What I wish to accomplish as an artist is not only to make a living, but most importantly, to change the world and inspire others. I want to motivate as many people as I can to challenge themselves, achieve their dreams, never give up, and embrace being different. I believe that this album, “Animalistic,” has the power to do so. This is my first studio album, and I have created every single word and note from my heart. I felt free as I wrote this album, and naturally, I began to gravitate toward incorporating multiple genres, sometimes within a single song. I do not want to be a rock-star or a pop-star - rather, I would love to be the kind of artist which has no label. I want my audience to never quite know what’s coming, except that it’ll be good.
