The latest track released on Sorcery Records "I Want To Be Free" comes from Dutch / German duo Nostic and DJ T.H. with vocals by Laura Ledoux. This is a jumbo package with 4 remixes. This fast moving progressive/tech trance track with driving bass and rhythms and repetitive plucked synth line drops away into the breakdown to be replaced by the voice of Laura Ledoux supported by orchestral strings and effects. Nostic & DJ T.H. build the tension in the track through 2 breakdowns before powering back into the track with deep bass, electic organ sounds and the electro / plucked synth line. This track has a different sound for our label. The first remix by Roland Sandor opens with techy bass rhythms underpinning pitch risers before building with progressive electro sounds into this unusual track. The second remix by Science Deal takes the vocal, chops it up with reverb and delay and uses it as a feature and effect in this remix. The drums and bass rhythms and electro sounds keep powering through until the breakdown which features more melodic synth lines mixed with reverb and delay whilst underpinning the vocal. The third remix comes from Gomez92 and shows a greater similarity to the Original track but again uses the vocals as an effect, in quasi-trance style building synth sounds & rhythms throughout the track. The final remix comes from Rater aka Timur Shafiev and is more conventional in style. A deep set plucky bass drives the track along into the breakdown where Rater uses the Original harmonies and melody on orchestral strings with vocals introduced whilst that deep bass line emerges from the depths with electro effects laid over the top. This is one cool track.
