The members of Mr. Grizzly & the Big Nothing - friends since childhood - formed the group in 2011. Since then, the band has performed their original works at numerous Montreal performance locales, from small coffee shops to renowned venues including the famous Club Soda. Matthew Azrieli (guitar, banjo, vocals), Aaron Dolman (drums, guitar, vocals), Jesse Kirman (piano, harmonica, vocals) and Solomon Azrieli (bass, vocals) each bring their own unique musical background to the mix - be it folk, classic rock, jazz or anything in between. The group is always willing to explore new musical domains. The band's original songs are sometimes the work of single artist or a collaborative effort amongst members.
