MGY began as a playful atmospheric recording project from two multi–talents, Larsen B. and Colleen Duran. Nashville mega-talent George Bradfute was quick to join. In 2008, Rudolph Dietrich (Nasal Boys, Blue China) fell under the hypnotic and wayward charm of these recordings, and helped in producing and creating the first MGY CD, “Trail Of Devastation”. In 2013, MGY released its second album on vinyl, entitled “The Art of The Hang”, which was recorded and mixed with George Bradfute in the Tone Chaparral studio in Nashville. 2014 sees the release of a 3-track EP, recorded and mixed analog in Dala Studios, Winterthur and called “A Brant Rock Christmas”.

MGY is currently based in Zurich, Switzerland. Larsen B. started in and played with punk/post-punk bands in Lucern, Switzerland, San Francisco, CA and Zurich (Dogs of War, Attacked Noise, The Gate, The Disease, Garden of Delight, MGY, PeG). Colleen Duran is a songwriter who performed in theatre/dance in Memphis, TN, Southampton (UK) and London (UK), before playing in bands in Zurich (Bad Catholic Girls, MGY, PeG). MGY releases on a credit-card cycle - as soon as the last production is paid, MGY look forward to releasing something new!
