Vachina bio Adrian Blackstock, comes from Danville, VA where he was a regional and state award winning vocalist. In America he released two solo albums and four joint features with other local Virginia artists. Adrian jumped right into the SZ music scene in 2012 and is known as one of the hardest working musicians in the Guangdong, China music scene performing with over 20 bands. Adrian has been awarded as the best drummer in Hooleys Battle of the Band competition (2015). Adrian has also received musical sponsorships from SAGA guitars, and MUZA electronic drum kits and has been featured in their online publications. Adrian will be releasing his new solo album, "#VaChina" in June and can be found performing weekly at Lavo Jazz/Soul/Funk with The Beat Brothers. Adrian has been featured in That's PRD and Shenzhen Daily as a member of SpaceFolk, Dragon Turtle and Brue. Adrian has also performed at MiDi festival in 2014 as a drummer and in the 2015 strawberry festival as an MC. Adrian's former band Dragon Turtle will release their live album entitled "Live Full" this summer and SpaceFolk released their album entitled "City Country Living" last year and Adrian was featured as a drummer, and vocalist. VaChina is a musical celebration of China, Africa, and Virginia, and where all humans began. Adrian unites traditional Chinese and African sounds with a flare of American Pop, Hip-Hop, Soul, and EDM.
