Sometimes it "Seems Like" the Love Generation has lost its way. The ideals that we held so dear have faded with our jeans. These songs are a reminder that some of us remain true to the idea that Peace and Love will prevail. I wrote “I Don’t Wanna Go Back” and that’s because what we really need to do is bring those ideals forward. Many of these songs are a call to action, to not sit by on a fence post and watching everyone else “Walking Down the Highway.” I really do want to be the “Singer” of songs that will touch your soul. Bob Dylan once said: “If you want to know I believe, listen to my songs.” That is the theme of this collection. The two instrumental selections are there just for fun. And thanks to Pastor Joe Connolly for the inspiration of his grandmother’s thought on “An Easy Life.” So "Somehow" while you’re sitting around “Drinking Coffee” and “Living at the Speed of Light” just remember to “Move On.” Tom Rasely, 2017
