Moscow-born New Yorker, Alisa Shamrow, has been writing and performing her mix of blues/pop/folk songs at famed venues such as Arlene's Grocery, Mercury Room, Rockwood Music Hall and Pianos. Recently, several of her songs, including the hit "Please", were made popular by Lifetime's popular show, Dance Moms. Alisa's worked with a notable list of NYC's renowned producers, arrangers and musicians. These include Mark Turrigiano (producer of Ingrid Michaelson's hit album "Girls and Boys"), Moogy Klingman (co-writer of Bette Midler's classic "You've Gotta Have Friends") and Justin Goldner (2014 Tony Award musician, multi-instrumentalist and producer/composer/arranger for Funky Butter Productions).
