The original name was" The Doctor", given to him by a club patron but later shortened to "DJ Doc". After 20 years of of use later changed to Dj Doc Matrix because of the over-use of the previous name. One of Chi-Town's busiest DJ's whose been dropping the needle for over 20 years in all the major clubs in & around Chicago such as Maxwell Sweeney's, Nimbus, The Box, AKA's, Charlie Club, Riveria Club, Heroes, The Clique, 50 Yard Line, Cotton Club, Coconuts, Confetti's, Erik's North & South, Mr. Ricky's, Strictly Business, The Lick, an Original member of WGCI's Master Mix 6 & the list goes on. Dividing his time between Chicago & Atlanta, Doc Matrix's influences include Soul, House, Smooth Jazz & R&B. This is his first release, a stepper's cut, on MMP Records.
