This EP features three stunning original tracks from the Ecuador production duo MarmensiJack. The Best Reason, the title track on this release, comes thick with its many rich and layered pads adding mood and a little melancholy to the melody. The track then becomes peppered with a bright arp twinkling above the grooving darkness underneath. New Year has a nice percussive vibe carried along by the deep bass, a fine vocal and filtered synth lines. These synths when filtered low adds a perfect vibe to the already grooving atmosphere and as the filters are opened up the synthline becomes a wild phat razor splitting the sonic landscape. Space Dance ironically has a deep earthy feel to it as the bass and percussion start this track off with a tribal feel that rolls into a groovy bassline with soft vocal stabs bringing a little funk to the mix. This track is both subtle and vibing with its little edits and bounce.
