Dead Sea Captains: „Ermitter“ EP Emerald & Doreen Records goes Mexico! Dead Sea Captains basically are a duo, consisting in Jorge Flores and Anita de Mattis. Both met in Mexico City however she's from Lisbon while the guy stems from Pachuca, Mexico. Jorge Flores writes the songs and always wants to have a line between his love for alternative rock and electronica. He loves everything from Blur to Apparat or New Order to Pavement, never really making any distinction. So the tracks Kjesus! (Remix-Ep to follow!), All these leaves, Iridescent Lights, LX and Runnin form a caleidoscope of the pre-techno new wave era of the 1980s. „Kjesus“ melts the love of New Wave and Electronica that is characteristic to the Dead Sea Captains with some nonchalant, childlike vocals.
