When we first heard Slurrp's tracks, we fell in love with his abrasive, yet funk laced music. Lead track Funky Peeples is like the soundtrack to Theo & Deon's late night neon lit gym, with more twists and turns than a pregnant rattlesnake. Tuff Love is exactly that, a heavy yet uplifting piano bomb that is coming over like a dusty N.Y gem jacked up on steroids. Closer Hard Luck Our Chuck is another slice of brute force house that is just perfectly peppered with some sweat drenched acid. In our opinion, debuts don't get much more punchy than this.
