This is an instrumental piece of music written for violin, cello, piano and percussion. It has an improvisational element to it, allowing the performers to solo yet it is in more of a modern, easy listening type of style. It is not quite new age because it has more harmonic interest yet it is not very dissonant so it is not "contemporary" in a classical sense. It is uplifting and was written with a sense of joy , looking toward a New Year. Joan Bujacich writes in many styles- from rock to jazz and to the more classical style in her instrumental offerings. She is a pianist, vocalist, & published composer . Performers are Joan Bujacich - Piano, Gretchen Gonzales - Cello, Carol Scherer - Violin, David Yee - Percussion.
