简介
Like many of the New Englanders music, this banjo driven tune sounds like a Sheriff chasing a 1920’s Model T through the back roads of northeast Texas and the story leaves you wondering who the bad guys really are in this is real life Texas drama. Lead singer, Joan Zaccone tells the semi-biographical story of Shotgun Hill and her grandmother, Myrtle Rivers, in this rousing hillbilly ballad about the bootlegging business taking place behind Myrtle’s Shotgun Diner and how the development of a new highway not only broke up the bootleggers but the diner and the town’s only freight train service as well. Strap on your safety belts, it’s going to be a bumpy ride on Shotgun Hill!
