Ka’ala Boys kick off the compilation with “Surf Party,” and keeps the party moving with “Backyard Kanikapila,” and “Can’t Stop That Groove.” Na Hoku award winning ukulele artist and avid surfer, Troy Fernandez, sings about some of his favorite Oahu surf spots in “Southswell Boogie,” and cranks it up on “Haleiwa,” while passionate surfer, Lance Kalahiki, sings “Living in the Islands” and “East Side Rider,” about the surfer who is always on patrol for the next wave. Quintessential surfer Bruddah Norm sings about his idyllic island life in “Hawaiian Born,” and gets the party started with “Party.” Kaulana Pakele sings about the surf at “Ala Moana Bowls,” while Rodz’ “Hawaiian Sunrise” and Heart and Soul’s “Hele Down to Hawaii Nei,” drum up thoughts of all things Hawaii.
