With both parent elders of a Presbyterian church in Lagos, MV aspired to be a Minister of the Gospel at a very young age. In 1999 at the age of 11, MV and his family relocated to the United States to further his education. As MV got older and older he grew further and further from his destiny until a near death experience changed his life forever. November 4, 2008 was the day MV realized that there was more to life than money, women, and all the materialistic things that this doomed world has to offer. It was on the fateful of November 5, 2008 that MV repented and rededicated his life and became Reborn. The name “Victory” symbolizes a victorious lifestyle and “Mateo” is Greek for “Devoted to God” which was a vow he made a year after he was saved.
