This 2-disc, 14 track CD features songs that touch on the Polo matches, A-List parties, enormous homes, gorgeous cars, traffic jams on Route 27 and the best restaurants in town. The witty and tuneful songs capture the fun and sunshine of summer in The Hamptons. The title song, "Ooh La La Hamptons" was the most requested song of summer on Hampton's radio -- second only to "The Macarena!" Melissa & The Moguls features singer/songwriter Melissa Levis and a backup band of real life singing East End moguls - investor Jonathan Farkas, banker Pat Malloy, metals maven Andy Sabin, T-shirt impresario Alan Frank, real estate tycoon Allan Rose, and publishing magnate Dan Rattiner of Dan's Papers. Guest stars include Lifetime Television President Doug McCormick and comedian Robert Klein, among others. Melissa & The Moguls was conceived in 1995 with a concert at Amagansett's "The Stephen Talkhouse". The "Ooh La La Hamptons!" CD was released to great acclaim the following summer. The Moguls have reunited through the years to sing in Aspen, New York City and of course - The Hamptons!
