"Angel" The short film (run time 4:19) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWpdPGt6FIg Ti ' amber She clings to my heartbeat For she still has yet to break way from the warm rhythm of the womb I wish I would hold her here forever To far from forever but One day I will have to tell her that All the world is not warm and all the world is not rhythmic The sky's not always clear and Sometimes when the rain falls it stings And one day I will have to tell her that No matter how she feels or what she does Some just won't love you Others will just want to replace you And if anyone if anyone should ever hurt you Fire would fill my eyes and One day I will have take a step back and let her live her life Let her find her own way and One day I will have to leave her and one day Unable to hold her and She clings to my heartbeat For she still has yet to break way from the warm rhythm of the womb I wish I would hold her here forever To far from forever This poem is the fifth track on my Alive CD, inspired by my daughter who always wanted to be held on the left side.
