简介
Iron Mountain is the initial collection of songs from arts Michael Brondstetter. This was a collaboration of style and content with producer Kirk Arnold/Dove Linkhorn and the artist who performed on the EP. Guitar and bass: "Cactus" Jim Soldi, Slide/Dobro guitar and fiddle: Dennis Caplinger, Drums: Bob Sale. backing vocals Melisa Kary. This was a long difficult road like the ride up too the recording studio in Ramon, Ca. Along the way I had to pass the turn off to "Iron Mountain" walking trail head. So since the name and ordeal were related to a long hard trek I decided to name the EP after the San Diego landmark. The feeling of down home, and organic nature of the production was intended to bring out the direction in my life where I think things need to get to. Track 1 is call "Dark Cloud Blues" and is one of the favorite tracks that fans have asked for. It's a fun and intentionally critical lyric. I hope enjoyable and quite apparent if looked and listened to. "Friends" was a song that a good friend loved. She told me it was a bright spot in her day at times in here "Ghost In The Wall" is based on a expression that a old friend/co-worker used to say about those little nagging feeling of Deja Vu we get and/or ideas that we forgot something important or feelings of regret from our past that pop up from time to time, but we can't quite put out fingers on the problem. "Tear It Apart" is about starting over from scratch with the innocence of youth mixed with the knowledge/wisdom of age. Something we all wish we had when we were younger. "Love Is The Key" is a song about coming of age and not really know which way to go or a clue as to where life will take/land us. This is another of the fans favorite songs. I really hope that everyone enjoys the EP and will help pass/permute/play it on ever radio station in the world!!! LOL. I'm really just happy that it's out and available for friends and fans to finally enjoy. I'm trying to stay active supporting "Iron Mountain" while still trying to record and develop the material for the complete CD. Thanks to all who have done so much to help make this possible. My family and friends who have put up with me while this whole process took its emotional and economic toll. Michael Brondstettter
