Dr. J is a singer-songwriter from the North Coast (Lake Erie, OH) playing island-style beach country and trop rock music along the lines of Jimmy Buffet, Kenny Chesney, and Zac Brown. Dr. J has spent much of his life on Lake Erie and in the Florida Keys and the spirit of those places infuses his songwriting. ​"The Keys to the Bay" combines country, blues, southern rock, and Americana influences with feel good lyrics and story telling that capture the laid-back good time feel of island, boat, and beach life in America today.
