My work is hard to describe -- sometimes it's playful and fun and other times it's like a stick in the eye. I cover one of my all-time favorite songs, "Sometimes" by Malcolm McKinney -- and Anil Melwani plays a gorgeous cello on that song. I also cover "Human" by The Killers. I know, I know, that's a surprise. "Odds Are" are real statistics -- you might want to think twice before you buy that lottery ticket. "A Firefly's Life" has real science in it.

If you learn nothing else from this album, learn that it is never good to keep fireflies in a mayonnaise jar -- or any jar of any kind. If you must catch them, make sure you release them right away. They only have a short time on the planet to find love. Don't stand in their way!
