I’ve been playing piano since I was 7 years old. I originally trained in classical. When I was fourteen I won a soloist contest and performed a concerto with the Santa Cruz Youth Symphony. Through college and my twenties my interest shifted from classical to rock and roll. I played with several pop duos and a rock band. My dream has always been to record my own instrumental piano music. I’ve been writing since I was 17 and truly believe my music is some of the most beautiful you will ever hear. I combine acoustic piano and synthesizer for a wonderful sound. I lived on the coast of California for 20 years and the ocean has always been a great inspiration for me. Many of the songs on “Soaring Higher” come from sitting on the cliffs and watching sea gulls fly over crashing waves. My other love and inspiration is the mountains. The beauty of the Sierra Nevada range in California inspired many of the songs on “Mountain Serenade”. I live in a quiet mountain cabin and love to hike and ski. I think my music totally reflects the beauty and peace I see and feel around me. I am currently working on music for a 3rd CD. I want to share my music and the joy it has brought me, with the world.
