Sunny Kim's new album opens new possibilities for jazz vocals - A world of dreams created by voices and guitars! Vocalist Sunny Kim and guitarist Ben Monder's new album <The Dream of the Earth> is the first studio album to be released after the 2014 live recording <The Shining Sea>. The two musicians, who have been involved in musical exchanges for more than 10 years, are more mature than ever, delivering interactive music. <The Dream of the Earth> depicts the desire of two musicians to spiritually heal the reality of suffering ecosystems around the world through music. 'Message from the Pleiades' states that a message of love and wisdom must be sent to the Earth in order to restore the relationship with the Earth, and 'Tears of Gaia' recalled the landscape of the sea suffering from a genetic accident. 'Close-Up of Infinity' is dedicated to Austrian architect, painter and environmental activist Hundertwasser, and 'Dream of the Earth ' is a desire for perfect harmony between man and nature . Also included are jazz standard songs such as "Stardreams", "Dreamsville", "A Flower Is a Lovesome Thing" and a new version of "Willow Weep For Me". Hwang Byung Joon, Grammy Award winner, worked on the entire process from recording to mastering. In order to express the natural voice of Sunny Kim, the complex harmonies combined with the use of looper, and the vast guitar sound of Ben Monder, Hwang took a minimalist’s approach in use of EQ or compressor in post-production. You can enjoy the most natural sound with superior sound quality. Hundertwasser artwork is in perfect harmony with the message of the record.
