简介
This album of children's music is dedicated to endangered and threatened animals and is intended to underscore their dignity and beauty. It contains 16 original INSTRUMENTAL songs, each musically descriptive of a different endangered or threatened animal. A portion of sales of this album will be donated to organizations that protect or care for endangered animals, among them being the Jane Goodall Institute and The Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald, TN. The cover photo features "Tabora," the chimpanzee, who lives in Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania, surrounded by bananas. The photo was licensed from the Jane Goodall Institute, which as also been granted full license by the composer to use the album's music for any purpose. When we realize that EXTINCT IS FOREVER, we understand the importance of protecting these animals. The intent of this album was, from its inception, to use instrumental music to describe endangered animals in a manner that evokes a smile, a laugh, or an impromptu dance. The melodies are meant to be simple enough to sing, hum, or whistle. "BANANAS FOR LUNCH!" is quite different from our other albums. We hope you agree!
