WIVAJOY is the alter-ego for a known artist in the New Age world. Music for Sex & Meditation is a playground where the artist layers rhythmic electronica with melodic acoustic instrumentation. Its sensual, its dream-like and it comes from another world. Earlier in her career she won an award for Best Dance/Club/Dub but abandoned the pursuit of the genre so as not to confuse her acoustic New Age audience. After countless pleas from fans, she is now back recording chill music and as 'Wivajoy' she is free to explore this pursuit further. Music for Sex and Mediation is a re-mix re-record of ICE – Piano Slightly Chilled which won a ZMR Best Dance/Dub/Club Album of the Year Award in 2007. This new mix is more chilled, it has more layers, tempos are ‘cooler’ it often has a ‘Lilly was Here’ feel with added Soprano Sax. Wivajoy's keyboard, vocals and arrangements are influenced by Enigma, Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis.
