Contributors on the One Blue Sky project are: former member John Zawcki (Bass / Vocals), Craig McMurray (Leads Guitar), and Chris Shrive (Acoustic Guitar). Each song tells a story, played and sung through our music about human nature, our own life experiences, and our disappointments and hopes concerning national and world affairs. The CD is a cool, melodic, groove mix of rock genres, with some new departures from our past CD, BAD DECISIONS, into Rockabilly and Hard Blues Rock realms, culminating on track 8 with an epic tale! We feature the lead guitar wizardry of Graig McMurray on 5 tracks with harmonic dueling leads and rhythms played with Joe Longo. Chris Shrive plays acoustic guitar on the title track, One Blue Sky. We once again, enlisted the expertise of SI Studios, in Old Forge, PA. to accomplish our goals for this latest CD production. Many months of hard work went into the creation of each song, with melodies and lyrics written by Joe Longo. Each band member created their own interpretation of the music with a new focus on vocal harmonies and playing style improvements. John Zawicki wrote his own vocal part, from the heart, for One Blue Sky to enhance the final section of the piece and share his own personal feelings. The message really comes through! Our CD cover and label art were created in co-operation with Craig McMurray and by his son, Alec Rodriguez. One Blue Sky was a great team effort by all band members, our guest players, the sound engineers at SI Studios, and some very special, supportive people in our lives.
