The solo debut by internationally known musician, songwriter and producer Barry Patterson is here! He stepped back from the well-known duo, Barry & Michelle, for a bit to record and tour this solo project. Some of these songs have been marinating for a while, and some came to be in the middle of the recording process. These songs push his guitar skills to center stage, much to the audience's delight. His vocal delivery ranges from gritty to tender here and so does his subject matter. "Blinds" and "Not Your Fault" will hurt ya, in the best way. The title track "7000 Miles" will make YOU want to tour....just so you can come home. "Unison" will elicit a blush and his cover of Canadian folk icon, Russell Thornberry's "Country Boy" will re-connect you to your rural roots.
