Yard of Blondes is a french duet who left their native Europe to get lost and seek for inspiration in the Californian Desert.. They were lost... until their talent got recognized by the local scene first, being played on Radio Free Joshua Tree and featured on the Highway 62 Compilation album along with Eric Burdon, Teddy Quinn and Victoria Williams, and then soon, some familiar names started to talk spread the word from LA to France... Rodney Bingenheimer ( The legendary KROQ DJ) has taken a liking to the band and has been playing Yard Of Blondes on his show almost every week since last year. Cameron Crowe (Academy-Award Winner and Rolling Stone Magazine journalist) has even taken to Facebook last year in support of the band and Brad Elterman, the legendary photographer of the Runaways, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, ... started to shoot them and put the word out to Hollywood. Yard Of Blondes is also starting to get recognition in their native France as they just starred in the documentary JOSHUA TRIP, a one hour documentary about Yard Of Blondes being inspired by the local community. The show has been broadcasted on national channel France 4 and being produced by one of the biggest production company in France and Europe, Morgane-productions.
